Steve, I, for one, appreciate any comments, positive and negative, regarding SUNW, as long as there is some substantiation. Viewing both sides is always a good reality check in this market.

Having been a long term investor in SUNW, I feel that a period of basing such as the one we are presently experiencing is usually followed by a spike up, particularly where, as here, even on strong down days, SUNW has held up well.

I think we'll see $110 before we see $79. JMHO.

Dear Steve: Thank you for your apologies in advance, that helps. (gg) Have you given any consideration to the fact that SUNW should have an excellent qtr and we are now nearing the end of the qtr. My experience is that SUNW usually runs up in advance of the earnings release. Secondly, Techs in general have gone through a correction phase the past few days. SUNW has held up very well under that pressure. As techs once again come back in favor what would cause you to think that SUNW would UNDERPERFORM the market when it was so strong on a down market? Popular Steve- Hi. Welcome back. Say, although this investing stuff seems to really trip you up, after reading your profile page, you seem good at everything else. I need help with a script (bash shell or perl). --- What I'm wanting to do is bait twister into posting about P/E ratios on the SUNW thread. The reason for that is to get SUNW permanently over the $100 mark. Now, this is nothing personal, but I'm using *you as bait. Here's how it works: Each day the script, run as a cron job checks the SUNW closing price. If the price of SUNW is less than $100 it does nothing. If the price is more than $100, the script calls up your profile page, tabs 17 hyperlinks down to the "ignore this person" button and executes. That's it! Again, the purpose of this script is simply an incentive for twister. As you posted that SUNW won't actually be going to $100, I reckon you'll not be offended. --- I'm using the Lynx browser if that helps. Thanks. -JCJ
