Maybe, but it would seem to me that you won't get the boost you're expecting out of this. It seems logical that when the demand for solder is the highest then the demand for other metals, the mining of which usually produces silver has a byproduct, will also be the highest. This will give you larger supplies of silver to meet the demand.

Perhaps I'm all wet, but that's my layman's outlook on the subject.
