It sounds you you are doing your shopping in the second tier Taiwan markets.

USB has nothing to do with RAMBUS or PC-100 memory.

We don't follow your logic. ISA and serial/parallel ports are there for legacy support. The fact that all major PC companies are selling PCs with RDRAM has nothing to do with legacy support.
