Michael, you know I've said before that I don't know about or subscribe to all of Al Gore's enviro-ideas. Please don't mischaracterize my position. I do stick by this post though:

On education, you might be interested in this take on Bush, his Party, and education. She seems to be saying that Bush can't run on the issue because Republicans either don't really agree with him on it or don't care enough about it. Seems to me Bush has to do a better job of making it an issue and making it clear why he will make a difference. Just bringing it to your attention, and to get your opinion, not endorsing what she has to say:
