Just to clarify, the version of Willamette that is going into servers is called Foster. And Intel is supporting DDR SDRAM for Foster-based servers.

The good news is that Willamette will be here at least three months before Foster, and it will be paired up with RDRAM at its release. Plus, Willamette is bound to be sold at higher volumes than Foster, simply because Willamette is meant for desktops and workstations. Those markets are generally higher volume than servers, which Foster is targeted toward.
