And why shouldn't you be? If your portfolio is heavily weighted in NAZ stocks, the swing today in the NAZ comp was over 200 points from low to high.

Shorting the QQQ won't even help to mitigate that kind of drop, unless you've overweighted the short shares in the QQQ's as compared to your portfolio.

Take a look at your numbers in PERCENTAGE terms, not absolute values. It's more eye-opening.

Very wierd day.
I used to hear, when I lived at Lake Tahoe, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes and it will change" because we would get storms so fast and when they were over, the sun and warmth could come back so fast.
I never thought the stock market would be like that but it is getting to the point that "if you don't like your stock's price just wait a while and it will be where you want it".
