Alfred was a teenager in the 50's, so he's just barely entered the age group Bernard Schwartz would hire from. I'm afraid Pauly, while clearly capable of not doing a worse job than the incumbent, is a bit wet behind the ears for our esteemed leader! Alfred has the further advantage of not being a real human being - he's still in the process of receiving type approval. <g>
