<<<Yes that is a great paradox. The entire population craves for lower prices when
it comes to gas, rent, food etc.
When prices are lowered or the For Sale goes up every one gets excited and euphoric.

When it comes to stocks, it is exactly the opposite. The majority are only happy when
prices rise.>>>

Why you call this a great paradox escapes me. If you wanted to sell your car wouldn't you crave a higher price than you deserve and a lower price if you were buying? Most populations pursue their own interests and the investing population mostly want the value of their own merchandise to increase. If shorting stocks was the majority approach in this area, most would be happy when prices were lowered and this then would be consistent with their happiness over lower prices on other items. Steve's words are simply a justifiable comment on the unenlightened self interest and very short memories of certain NN holders.
