That is exactly right. TXN has over 41mm share equivalents in their pocket. Even more than the biggest institution, Fido (at 30mm on 2-29-00). Who blinks first?

Fabeyes, don't you think that INTC and TXN have already hedged a good chunk of their debs once the stock went above their conversion price? I think the decline will not be so much due to their sale but more due to the absence of the special "support" operations of the last six weeks or so.

I would not bet on an immediate drop in DRAM prices, there is a lot of uncertainty related to Taiwan (I think that the run of the last three days above the $125 level was partially due to the election in Taiwan), and that may take just enough time to dissipate (5 more days?).
