Brush,

re: tbird and spitfire.

Tbird will come from dresden and is sampling now.
The earliest they can ship volume is april due to triggering dresden costs and depreciation etc.

My best guess would be for 200-400K tbirds in Q2 if all goes well.

Spitfires will start rolling from Austin later in Q2 and will require sockets etc.

Q2/Q3 may be awesome for AMD if demand continues and intel is stuck with sub Ghz for high volumes.

Allegedly spitfires have been thru a new layout and die size will be similar to current Athlons but eliminating ram and packaging costs. These baby's should cost sub $30 to make.

Earnings for Q3 should be awesome!!!

regards,

Kash
