DaveMG: Thought that Dr J said that the 1XRTT "standard" was already approved in the context of the "first phase of CDMA2000". Therefore no roadblocks in the way of testing and rollout. At least I thought the specifications were set and agreed to.

Did I misunderstand? Thought that was what he said in his detailed 1XRTT answer, but may well misremember.

Since this is a factual question, perhaps someone here can answer it. The beauty of it is that it lends itself to a yes or no.

(But of course a simple yes or no post would be too short)

Best.
