Drew, I haven't gone back because I have done much better (in absolute dollar terms) with fiber than with DELL. Granted, my (our) percentage returns on DELL were mind boggling.

This brings up a good point... Most investors are not well-suited to those kinds of returns. They become spoiled, and unrealistic about how their portfolios ought to perform in a real market. I am sure than some would say that I am unrealistic and foolish. I disagree. I think that given my history, I have executed well much more often than not. There have been the land mines stepped upon, no doubt.

Nowadays, if I can attain a 100% year-over-year return for the next few, I'll be absolutely set. Yet, I recently told someone that I'd give up all of the huge potential returns of the future for a guaranteed 20% year-over-year gross from now on. I could retire (move on to my next thing) very comfortably on that.

I think that getting two to three years of 100% returns is going to be easier, and take much less effort and worry on my part.

Regards,

LoF
