Insurance/Airlines: -
Sue Aon Corp, symbol AOC, looks attractive. I have followed ALL and watched it slide all the way down to 18-19, never owned any. When i saw the financial turn, and the insurance companies,(MMC, AIG), ALL seems like a very low risk situation. AOC looks similiar. The whole financial sector is going to do at least a major rebound here.
In airlines, I like LUV as the GE of airlines, getting tired of U and their strike stuff. NWAC looks poised for move from 19 to 22-24. ALK looks poised for move from 32 to 36-40. AMR,DAL, etc I don't follow. no particular reason why not. TWA, nope. think this is the time to go with the good stuff, be it beaten down or running. not time for crappies. MSFT made big move over 100 today and good chance it will challenge its old high in 120 area. it is VERY overdue. MUEI was confusing today. CEO was uninpressive but spoke volumes. stock dipped from 18-19 down to 14 1/2 or so, then rallied back to mid 16s. good action on it. i like it for short term play. KSWS, ron and dan's old buddy, showed good life today, spiking up 1 3/8 to 12 7/8. other shoe companies did nada. larry
