Perhaps you are right but
Let me restate what I meant. When a stock like TGS is trading at pennies a share it is easy enough to create volume/price alerts sucking in the daytraders.Look at what happened Friday. It doubled. The company comes out with a No Material Change statement & the stock continues it's fall.
I've seen this happen before with companies whose survival(such as Torino's) is questionable.Volume runs & price increases just before the stock is delisted and/or goes bankrupt.
Accumulation or paper being dumped?
