well since we all are confessing I'll share mine: SCOC a Steve Harmon pick. bot the stock a few back @ 22, it briefly went to 22 1/2 and then fell back to the high teens. I didn't want to take a pultry 1/2 point so I held. after holding for a while and seeing the drift down the decision was made to cut the loss and move on. wow, what a good thing to do in taking that 20% loss. now? company disappointed with earnings yesterday and the stock is now 9.
that would be a 59% loss if I still held.

sometimes taking that small/moderate loss can save a bundle.

sell the losers, hold the winners and know when to say when in both making a profit AND miniming the losses.
