We design and manufacture precision optical components used in dense wavelength division multiplexing technology for increasing the bandwidth of fiber optic networks. These networks have been used mostly for `long-haul' inter-city applications and, more recently, over short-range `metro' applications using optical add drop multiplexing. Our products select, shift or interleave very precise wavelengths of light, thereby increasing the bandwidth and efficiency of dense wavelength division multiplexing systems. These products require highly precise polishing and measurement technology to produce these components to exacting specifications that are critical to their performance
