When the FPSO EIS draft report is released next month, investors will be asking: WHO will construct these DOUBLE HULL OSVs and WHO will convert barges into FPSOs and WHO will be converting and providing maintenance and repair on the OLD vessels FOR years to come! Domestic Demand (U.S. now importing 55% of its crude UP from 37% a decade ago) WILL require substantial investment in the OCS, specifically the GOM over the next 2 decades. Somebody has to build, retrofit, maintain and repair the vessels needed for GOM development. If not FGH, WHO??????????? TDW is just the FIRST to announce their plans to provide expected vessels and services for perceived growing DEMAND in the GOM and elsewhere.
