Lindao, you are right in your assumption as to the oversold and overbought levels, I believe williams% is a better leading indicator than RSI as the RSI calculation smooths out the peaks.

wiliams%
First determine the highest high and the lowest low prices during a specific period n. Subtract today's close from the highest high and divide by total range of the lowest low and highest high. Multiply by 100.

(highest high over a period of time n) - (today's close)
%R= --------------------------------------------------------- (100)
(highest high of period n) - (lowest low of period n)

When the closing price is near the top of the recent trading range (above 80%), the security is in an oversold condition. The overbought condition exists at a point below 20%.

RSI
The Relative Strength Index requires a certain amount of lead-up time in order to operate successfully.The formula for calculating the RSI is:
rsi=100-(100/1-rs)
rs= average of x day's up closes divided by average of x day's down closes

I have found clearstation.com as a good basic T/A site, here is one that defines most indicators.
wallstreetdirectory.com

A search on yahoo will find a multitude of sites.
right here on SI also has some good stuff.
siliconinvestor.com

The main theme of the thread is to use w% on glatlined BB stocks and watch w% cross up and over the -50 line -with vwry little price rise- a sure indicator of a run on the stock!
