MU financial results are reflecting the actual state of affairs in the real world .... pricing pressure and profit erosion.

Still the problem is with the Central Banks... pumping liquidity into the system. Interest rate advancing at 0.25% are meaningless in a world that the insider can drive stocks 10% or more in one to two days.

Missreporting of inflation in the US are holding the dollar strong even with the huge trade deficit. IMHO as related to the US markets the dollar is the key......and I suspect the 100 level on the index is a major turning point.

For unknown reason the central bankers are still pumping money into the system and I suspect the violent moves in the markets greatly improve in many countries the revenue from income tax and /or capital gain tax collection to balance their budget.

More and more companies who report dismissal earnings are rewarded for their prep talk more and not for their actual performance.

At present I am not sure what will turn the tide but I suspect wen it will happen as in the latest bio-tech mania it will be fast an furious.

Just take a look at COMS or MEDX as a typical example.

But at the end some one will stop partying and this will be quite ugly.
