Another valuable lesson: If had you had done absolutely nothing (like I did last week) and just sat on the sidelines but got out of the more volatile stocks you would have done great. I left profits on the table once before in some biotechs but sold when the gains were astronomical not worrying about leaving 25% or so on the table. Left my few strong Israelis techs and my 6 long termers, none of them have lost and are all up. I did not stay on the sidelines by choice and don't know how I would have played out the last week, but I assume I would have been in puts or been very, very cautious and only daytrading.

Just went short ABSC after a nice 2 day gain. PTIX will probably sell after second day of gains if it falls below 50-60% of day high. I'd rather leave on the table than chance losing on a gap down. PARS triggered after mentioning yesterday, but I'd really be cautious because the biotechs are still 'smarting' from the losses. Keep stops in and take profits.
