NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 2000--Track Data Corporation
(Nasdaq NMS: TRAC.O) announced today that its myTrack online trading
system is now accessible using Internet-capable cellular telephones.
myTrack members can use their wireless phones to place trades, check
positions, and access real-time quotes.
"Mobile phones increase people's access to myTrack," said Barry
Hertz, Track Chairman and CEO. "When they're at their PC, members can
use myTrack's fully integrated trading screen with streaming real-time
quotes and news to track their portfolio and place trades. When
they're on the go, they can use these phones to keep tabs on their
portfolio and place a trade. With all of our wireless initiatives,
myTrack is available any time, any place."
Since January, myTrack members have enjoyed wireless access to
myTrack through handheld organizers such as the Palm, made by Palm,
Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM.O). Earlier this year, Track also announced an
agreement with Flextrader.com to develop a wireless trading platform
for the RIM Interactive pager.
Phones that will support wireless myTrack access come from the
following manufacturers: Qualcomm (Nasdaq:QCOM.O), Motorola
(NYSE:MOT.N), Ericsson (Nasdaq:ERICY), Hitachi (NYSE:HIT.N), Nokia
(NYSE:NOK.N), Sanyo (Nasdaq:SANYY), Alcatel (NYSE:ALA.O), Samsung,
Toshiba, Neopoint, Siemens, Denso, and Casio.
For instructions on how to open a myTrack account and details on
specific phone models, please visit our web site at
www.mytrack.com/phone If you are already a myTrack member with an
online trading account, you can access your account by pointing your
cell phone browser to phone.mytrack.com. The site can then be
