Speaking of MU...the ANAL-ysts miss earnings by over 30% and all they do is get on the horn and manage to pump up MU 14 points. Apparently people ARE this stupid.
One reason I hesitate to short.
I see Niles is one of the ANAL-ysts. Naturally, he gets on the horn and defends his TERRIBLE call...and people buy it. Amazing. Based on this, AMD is now worth at least 1000 dollars a share.

Jim,

I could not believe it....I thought Cory was joking. MU didn't miss the consensus eps by a little....it was a lot; on record revenue. Dangerous to reaffirm a Strong Buy when a company's margins are being torn apart. The analysts' are playing a bad game....suspect they are trying to get their clients out and then will let MU fall.

BTW I think the same thing is happening with RMBS as well....Edelstone says everything will be RMBS by 2003?!!!
