A friend has installed W98 SE into an older computer and is unable to obtain sound. She has a window pop up informing her to go to enhanced DOS mode to enable "Soundscape". Soundscape comes up "echo off". She can get sound through headphones only playing a CD(only) - but not through the speakers. No sound for non CD applications. When she goes to
My Computer
C drive
Soundscape file
that is where she gets the message about Soundscape being "off " and to go to Enhanced DOS Mode to enable.

Hope this makes some sense. Any help would be appreciated

Anyone,I am thinking of using one of the free ISPS for a backup.Any recommendations?
Do they all require you to download an interface or can you just get a password and phone number?
