I thought SCO had inherited Xenix +/- from Microsoft.

One of the great ironies of all time. MS did the original Xenix, but then they didn't like the idea of working with scalable, portable, well-designed multi-user systems and so ended up working out a deal to palm it off on SCO. All these years until Unixware, every time one booted a SCO system, there was MS in the list of copyrights, even with OpenSewer since they put in a lot of Xenix compatability code. Unixware is finally MS free.

Did you notice that it was only recently that MS sold their 20% share of SCO? Talk about the classic case of rats deserting a sinking ship!
