RE:" Niceguy, here is a promise. If we DO close above $63 tonight (per your prediction) - I will forward a cashiers check for $100 to you, so you can enjoy a wonderful meal on me - in Ecuador. You have my word. But you only have a couple of hours to make this happen, so get busy!"

Niceguy may have to go to Ecuador just to get to $63...or maybe I'll take another vacation.

Comment: I hope I didn't predict a close above $63 tonight...The previous all-time closing high was $58.25, I think, and what I was suggesting to Scumbria is that it may take another day or two to close above that high water mark...The $63, since revised downward to $60, is exceedingly significant from a technical standpoint, as a close above that would represent a close above the upper boundary of the 5 year trading range...and as such, imho, would confirm the AMD paradigm shift and usher in a bandwagon effect of institutional investor buying in AMD...Based on my experience, whenever the bandwagon effect clicks in, share price rises rapidly and beyond most reasonable short term price expectations...In the case of AMD, given its significant, imho, current undervaluation at $57 given the probability of Y2000 earnings between $4.00 and $7.00, the runup could be quite sensational...The probability of such a runup occurring before April 20 is high enough as to convince me to sit on all my existing April call options until after earnings are released on April 12 and possibly 'til expiry...
