PSSSST, Nite-Man,
Don't tell Druss but I have been picking up cans along the highway. Since you know Druss, he has done things for my finances that I would have never dreamed were possible. I used to hover near the poverty level until I met Druss...
Those were the good ol' days.

From 'The Zen of Shorting'

The great short of ancient Japan Chu Mei Ash was giving a lecture on shorting to a group of students when a young man stood up and requested an opportunity to ask a question.
"Certainly small goat," replied Chu Mei Ash.
"Master I was long on Ponzi Oragami Silk company. I had been very successful in the market and I saw it as a great opportunity. I invested all that I had gained in the market and lost it all. I heard you were shorting it and I must confess I laughed and thought you foolish. You profited greatly and much of the money you gained was mine. How Master, could I who have been so successful have been so ignorant?"
"Were all of your gains made long little goat? And why did you stay so long when it started down?"
"Yes Master, I scorned shorts. I felt them stupid, my humble apologies. I stayed in because I kept thinking it must go up. I have thought about this Master, I really felt that since I desired wealth and gold so much I must certainly gain it for myself. Now I must stay in my clerical job with Sato Shipping. Instead of gold I make a few silver pieces a month."
"I can see your problems very clearly small goat", said Chu Mei Ash. "You have made the terrible mistake of falling in love with money. Further you felt there was only one way to make it. There are many ways to make money."
"But Master, You are very wealthy, you do not love money?"
"Yes, I am burdened with wealth. Though the great Buddha says I should give up my possessions of this world I am weak. So I bear both the burden of wealth and the knowledge I should give it up. But for all that I am not in love with money. I do not love things that do not return my love."
"I see Master, but what do you mean I could make money somewhere besides the market or at my clerk job?"
"Your job at Sato Shipping is very interesting. They have made some interesting claims on their balance sheets. Someone in your position might be most entertaining to speak with about them."
"But Master, I am not sure I could do that. It would be...well.. I just don't know."
"I understand your problem small goat. But we are speaking or your soul here. You have been lost in a terrible love of money for its own sake. I seek to teach you the wisdom of loving and being loved. You might also find you can learn shorting too."
"I don't understand Master."
"I think you should come by my house tonight. You can enjoy a great meal by my chef Le Cu Pah and then meet my courtesans Won Sum and Yu May. They are supposed to be the most beautiful women in Japan. I dare say you will find you can love them. And most assuredly if you do they will love you back."
Then tomorrow we can discuss various aspects of how to look at a companies finances. If we both decide a particular company is say a good short I will loan you the money"
"Oh! The most beautiful in Japan, you say?"
"I have been told so and I am inclined to agree. Do you accept my invitation then?"
"I think Master you have identified my problems very astutely. I cannot decline your offer even though it is far more generous than I deserve. Tell me Master, do you think I can solve these problems?"
"I am very hopeful," Chu Mei Ash replied, "The first thing one must do is to think of solutions to a problem. I can see you are thinking very fast."
