OT: Yes. Most of those things you think I'm saying, I'm saying. --- I'm saying a company finds a cure for cancer (magic bullet) and the guy holding the patent DOESN'T reap the rewards Wall Street supposes. --- Yes, I'm exactly saying that medicine and profit don't appear to exactly have a symbiotic relationship. --- There is no basis to say that the profit motive drives medicine. Hell, it's probably more true that the profit motive has HURT medicine --- What you're counting on as a bio-med investor is the government of monied special interests enforcing medical patents. I'm here to tell you if Vox Populi decides that the patent holder isn't kicking down fast enough with the successful product or process, the govt isn't going to be so friendly to the patent holder, suddenly. --- We're having a crisis in Intellectual Property issues nowadays. Bio-med patents are on the thinnest ice from an investment perspective. Bio-med is 21st century. Patent laws are a 19th century construct. Conbining the two is a loser.
