WASHINGTON, March 22 (Reuters) - Micron Technology Inc. (NYSE:MU - news), the world's No. 2 maker of computer memory chips, filed on Wednesday to sell from time to time up to $500 million in debt securities and common stock.

"general corporate purposes, including capital spending and for working capital needs". I found the lack of clarity in this statement really funny...

Anyhow, what's your take on this one?

Skeeter
I could lie to you and say yes I am buying.... but truth be known, I replied to Larry a while back about getting out at 85!!!!! i got clobbered a while back when I went long at 80 calling for 100. I'm not stupid or naive enough to believe that it won't drop and I must admit that this run up has been incredible. I was hoping for further deterioration from yesterday but didn't get it. Anywhere in the low 100's and I would be a buyer - again. (right now INTC is occupying all my attention)
FWIW - I would wait to see if a split is forthcoming.
It appears that momentum, & the strong chip market may send this thing higher, split then buy. Thats how I will play it; EPS, debit structuring, interest rate increases and the myriad of other items don't seem to be having a negative impact on it.
You know that part of my reason for the post is to rub a little salt in the wounds. You have know all along I have been bullish on MU and have done reasonably well doing it. But I would be hesitant at this level.
