There was a breathless report on CNN's Moneyline about the semiconductor industry. One analyst said he expected the SOX to double over the next 12-18 months. Another, asked about it, said he thought it a 'reasonable' prediction. One of the talking heads said the potential of the industry 'dwarfed' the potential of the biotechs. Looks like attention is finally being paid.
