WR: So Telit can roll out its second (improved) model on about the same time schedule as Ericsson may manage to get its first out. "The (Telit) SAT600 will be available as of the second quarter of 2000." Ericsson's performance (well, non performance) is pitiful. Does Ericsson's management not only have minimal competence but not even any pride? Loral should dump Ericsson asap for non performance. There must be some sort of non performance clause. Exercise it. Rely on Telit and ramp up the Taiwanese manufacturers. Best. Chaz PS Or if the Q had a license green light and necessary approvals, bet Qualcomm could ramp up GSM G* fast. The "satellite" element is the Q's anyway. Just add GSM.
