TEC, I agree with you. That's why I was trying last week to get someone to graph the spreads and put them up for public display. I do this personally for myself and watch EVERY DAY as I play these arb deals. I am glad that Guy did that for everyone to see. It's what I was seeing. As the trend reversed violently, that was the tip of the iceberg. We now KNOW why. This has been brewing under the covers and it's now been publically divulged. That reporter, who was chastied by some, was on the right track. Individual investors are typically the last to know about these deal problems. As TP said, its way after the fact that we find out, and are usually underwater by that time. Who knows if they'll get this done or not, but if you're playing ANY ARB situation you've GOT TO GRAPH the spread daily and follow the news closely on any deal to protect your interests and your money. The spread isn't free money. It's there for a reason. Steve
