If you are sending them from a floppy to the favs. file you need to put in this-- C:\WINDOWS\Favorites

A:\Bookmarks is the file you are sending.

Importing Bookmarks into IE 5 from floppy:

File | Import and Export | Next

select Import Favorites

click Next

select Import from a File or Address

from here you can either type in the path to the file (in your case it's probably A:\bookmark.htm or A:\bookmark\..\finance\bookmark.htm)

or

click Browse and point to the appropriate bookmark.htm file.

i think that the hiccough that you ran into is the last step. only files named bookmark.htm are valid import files.
