on BrunHilda, most of us figured she would lead to self-destruction her promotion to Senior VP means she deals with more powerful people they dont tolerate big mistakes, or a pair of them she overplayed her cards, and now is beginning to feel it she has made some enemies in high places I helped those enemies to understand her her most ardent adversary is the #3 ranking VP, another woman this #3 used to be my manager's original boss, very shrewd I liked her very much, an attractive (but not leggy) blonde her adversary and the #2 ranking VP are wise to BH they call BH on her disobeyed orders which backfire we all enjoy hearing about the stories to this day unfortunately, the #1 CEO is removed from such interaction with BH my favorite prankster maneuver happened every Friday afternoon I was required to hand deliver a little document to BrunHilda's office so I would walk down to her office, by way of the men's room as I passed significant amounts of urinary liquid, I would carefully place the document in position to receive spray sometimes the spray was more than planned so I had to walk around a little during the drying process several colleagues were buckled over laughing about it they know what I did each time plausible deniability is key here (accident, sorry) sometimes I spit on BH's office desk and chair what goes around, comes around the senior VP's are a sharp bunch they can be fooled for a short while I predict BrunHilda will be eased out within 18 months these guys have a knack for saving face they also have a way to scapegoat when growth stalls at least 10 other nasty stories could be told she actually has tried to be nicer lately nobody is buying it as genuine though I used to laugh at her when she said "good morning" she has ruined a few too many careers I have had confrontation relationships with managers in a position of power frequently, especially at Digital Equip Corp in the early 1980's... got a neat story someday from those days regarding my attempt to purchase a copyrighted Mfg QC Procedure that eventually saved DEC $70m per year but I have never despised a VP as much as I do BrunHilda someday she might end up face down, but not by me BH is the quintessential Northeast Woman Bitch / Jim Willie CB
