TigerPaw, maybe someday SI will have avatar chat, with your avatar facial expressions and lips synchronized to your face and speech. Everyone in the virtual room could communicate with each other, and the speech recognition software would keep a written record of everything that is said. You could move your character to another part of the room and the voices in the far corner would diminish. You could pull up 3D bar charts of stock performance or other information that everyone in the room could see. You could move your character out the door into the thread hallway and move down to another door to enter another thread. You could bump into other people moving between threads. It might be interesting if it was the quality of video/animation that the Playstation 2 provides. JW P.S. For the lurkers, it would be like watching a show.
