you and I are share parallel views, morale issues are critical
diminished employee morale has been a major issue at the old company
people just dont do the best job on each project
they "get it done" in order to move to the next
I began not to care since last summer

the denied promotion was the last straw for me at last review
several less educated, less critical, less tied-in people in other organizations outranked me

I firmly believed and expressed my view that the keys to higher rank were:
- movement to new job every 2-3 years
- seized opportunity

when I began in 1995, the following year a nice younger woman took a similar forecasting job in the catalog side of the business (mine was retail side)... the next year she changed jobs for a promotion... the next year she changed jobs for another promotion... when I left she outranked me... each job had the same job requirements as the previous

reminds me of credit card promotions... the highest rates go to the best customers

to Corporate America I say: KISS MY ASS
my ass is the only body part with no suntan
well, except of course, my ass's observe side
maybe I should fix that with one of those thongs I see on the beach
