putting words in my mouth again, eh? i didn't talk about the causes of inflation, but the symptoms...i.e. one of them (excessive rise in stock prices beyond any fundamental justification). i also said what it IS: excessive growth in the money supply.

as for the cause, why that's simple: a central bank that prints too much.
