CLRS/WB

WB today announced an investment in CLRS: a $5 million convertible note. What WB's PR doesn't say is that the interest rate for the loan is 4.5 percent, and the strike price for the convertible is $147.20. This is financing completed on very favorable terms to CLRS. The reason for the financing, which seems odd for CLRS on the heels of its $200+ million secondary, is that it helped cement the deal between CLRS and WB for the development of an e-marketplace for WB's customer base.
