"Can these e- brokerages really handle a mad rush to the exits in a sell-off? I doubt it."

An understatement perhaps? The brokerages are having difficulties handling the volume now. In a sharp sell-off, with investors made irrational by fear, the brokers will not be able to keep up. Yeow! Investors will be crazed with anger. I'd rather not be a telephone jockey for TD Waterhouse or Ameritrade when that happens.

Young Stewart may look like a real cool guy but I see a beast lurking underneath his multi-coloured hair.

Ciao,
David Todtman

Did you see the T-note rates drop today?!?!

Who says you can't fight the Fed. The Treasury Dept. seems to be beating the stuffing out of them.

Best wishes,

I2
