Effectively, the bankruptcy judge has ruled that unless someone steps up in the next day or two, it's all over. Part of his ruling is that the birds have to be "de-orbited" (his term, not mine).

My guess is that the legal vultures now move in to feed on the bones once it is finalized. Motorola is the "deep pocket" that will be targeted, so it will come down to whether MOT set up the agreements in iron-clad fashion.

Is there anything salvageable from this wreck? I don't know. What is clear is that the price of what remains is closing in on "nil"
