I am going to disagree with you on this one, buddy. The news that us "little" people can get pointed to tougher sledding for the deal.

It was smart to sell, wait for confirmation, and buy back in. The risk was too great that the deal collapsed and your wallet suffered.

Only in hindsight can we say that "fear got the upper hand". Fear is a good thing sometimes, especially when you're NOT in control and information is sketchy.

I live and breathe this stuff like most of us on the thread and I have to say that hind sight is 20-20. I held on to all my ETEK shares but I admit, after last night's reports, my finger was definitely going to be on the "sale" trigger this morning. It would not have been worth the downdraft. Anyway, I am delighted with Alcatel's press release today.
