There seems to be a lot of optimism that the DOJ suit will be settled soon on favorable terms. Either it will happen (but is already mostly priced in, so might not contribute much of a pop), or people playing the expectation will get tired of waiting and pull out.

I think it's got most of what it's going to get.

But that's JMHO, and certainly not investment advice.

MSFT goes up both near and long term.

Start looking at charts of LNUX startups and CORL; you may find part of your answer.

Yes, Yes, Yes & Yes.

For that stoopid <g> Linux scare, go back to the COREL news, and one little bit of info will stand out....

THEIR UNIX SALES WERE LESS THAN THE PREVIOUS QUARTER....

That should tell you what corporations are adopting...

Unix & NT, with some Linux, and less and less Netware..

Take care
Jean

I'd love for Bill to get this giant rocking again, but
I have a few worries.. Linux.. Linux..Linux..Linux and Linux..

Are my worries unfounded?

Yes. Microsoft's Linux OS offering will dominate the marketplace, and their Office for Linux will do well also.

These are still, AFAIK, hypothetical products.
