Dinesh- I can't add to how you restated it. That's how I would have rephrased it too. A lot of investors NEW to CTXS would be mislead by the way the story was written. That's all I was pointing out. I don't think the author of the story was familiar with CTXS and his article's implications showed this. -MikeM(From Florida)

Dinesh,

I agree with MikeM that a lot of us are so used to seeing bad info in the press that we don't always comment about it in the folder. The bad info occurs in context that makes Citrix's fundamentals look both worse or better than we perceive them to be, depending on the incorrect information being handed out.

At the risk of taking the wind out of MikeM's sails in response to your question, I'll handle just the first one (because I didn't bother focusing again on the other two issues MikeM raised.)

The stock has been buoyed by the rise of the ASP market, shown in its fourth-quarter earnings statement.

I take that statement to mean that the fourth-quarter earnings statement gave reason to believe the ASP market is providing Citrix with dramatic revenues. That's simply not true. If I understand that statement as the author intended it, it's especially absurd in light of the fact that management is repeatedly telling us that the ASP movement's contribution to Citrix's top line is a way off.

End of rant. I'll leave the rest to MikeM and others.
