Question.....if Platinum members IPO's are drawn from a reserve as E-TRADE says, wouldnt that be a disadvantage? If the amount reserved is less than the proportion of platinum members to regular members...then arent we actually getting a piece of a smaller pie? We have no idea what the proportions are for the Platinum Reserve....The joke may be on us in that E-trade has found a way to isolate the most regular IPO participants with less shares then they would get if they simply tried as a new account!.... If the E-folks goal is to hook new acounts with an IPO, isolating the old accounts is a very effective way to do this.

Etrade told me they DONT RESERVE ANY IPOs FOR PLATINUM. Its a lie. The only benefit is advanced notice, which is BS cause they post the damn pricings on the site.
