SPECIAL NOTICE FOR WIRELESS INVESTOR READERS: - GLOBALSTAR SOLD FROM WIRELESS PORTFOLIO Dear Wireless Investor Readers, We announced in the 3/9 issue of The Bull Market Report (http://bull-market.com/1currentissues.html) our intent to place a GTC sell stop for GlobalStar (GSTRF, $18, unch) in the $17 range. This was subsequently filled on March 10th. Unfortunately, we did not mention this in The Wireless Investor publication and there has been significant confusion among some of our readers since then. This is an oversight which we regret and will strive to avoid in the future. GlobalStar is trading today above $17 a share, slightly above where we were stopped out of the stock. Here is what we said on March 9th in our Daily Newsletter, The Bull Market Report While we would love to talk only about the positive things that happened today, there is some dirty work that needs to be handled. We are officially placing a GTC sell stop on GlobalStar (GSTRF, $18, down 3) in the $17 range tomorrow. The time for the satellite-based business model simply has not arrived yet, and we feel that our investment in them was a bit premature. While satellite communications may one day take center stage, that day is far enough in the future to make a winner difficult to pick. There is also a lot of stock-price pain to be endured between now and satellites' potential heyday. We advise you to make up your own mind, but for us GlobalStar no longer fits our investment profile. The major reason for the sale, is that sales of phones are much lower than expected by the company and by the analysts. This news is just starting to come out. We're not willing to wait. We can deploy our money in much better locations at present. We bought GlobalStar at $23 in September and thus have a 22% loss unless it bounces on the opening. Not a great outcome, but something has to be done and we need to move forward. (Why a sell stop? Maybe we are dead wrong and the stock starts an ascent to $30 over the next few weeks and months. You never know. So if the stock heads up tomorrow, we'll still be long.) Again, we apologize for any confusion that this may have caused.
