CPQ is losing my share holder vote for employee stock options if they don't fix this rumor. Although, if MC is in China, how is he going to make any announsement Friday night. From the red eye coming back, or on a stop over in Hong Kong? NW

compaq cannot make these ipaq computers fast enough. the minute they are made, they are out the door. earnings are coming in at .17

Jack - GTW is down more than 4... maybe we should hold MC responsible for that too?? I guess everyone forgot that CPQ is in the "quiet period" (as they are at the end of every quarter) and will not respond to questions about earnings. I don't want to see CPQ management go on a fire drill every time someone puts out a rumor. That just opens the door to journalists playing "20 questions" with the rumor of the day in an attempt to see what CPQ will NOT deny...
