Bill, don't get me wrong. Old high could be tested. I think 120 - 130 by end of April is definitely a possibility with settlement. 130 would put it at the high end of valuation of 80 PE based on current trailing EPS. So that is not out of the question but may ba a little bit hard till earnings comeout. I believe the stock will hit 120 - 130 in late April, may recede to 110 - 120 range in May and climb to 140 - 150 in summer.

I have to agree there's no way this stock has fully priced in a settlement. There's still a big risk of a disappointment and an adverse ruling from the judge. If the case is settled without a breakup the stock gains 20 points the next day. The previous run to 120 was only on hopes of a settlement (and earnings expectations). Now the earnings are certain but the settlement isn't. For comparison twin sister INTC with the same underlying business drivers has doubled over the past 4 months, while MSFT is up about 10-15%. Shows the enormous pressure the stock's been under from worry-worts such as myself.
