Just back from a quick look. commissions are a little high at $29.95 vs. etrade $19.95....BUT you can trade CDN on line without going through NASDAQ? Not sure will need to email them.

Got this reply from penntrade....looks like you can trade online with them for CDN stocks. Might be worth the extra comish! next time I make a deposit I might just open an account and give 'em a try. I can always transfer my stock if I am not happy.

I tried to open a penntrade account. I tried for California, Texas and outside the US. They do not serve any of those areas. So looks like I will be staying with etrade.
