INSIGHT!? I am the KING of INSIGHT!

MRVC FLYS AROUND FOR NO REASON!

I've said it to Roktar, I said it to Tex, I said it to Sector Investor, and now I'm saying it to you! It moves for no reason.

I'm just hanging on. Think long term.

Lots of technical damage has been done that effects investor's psychology. I'm no TA wonk, but the basic premises are hard to refute. There are a lot of people out there saying "Why didn't I sell at ____?" You can fill in the blank with any price you want between 99 and 194.

That has the effect of causing lots of starts and stops as we move upward and people jump off so that they don't make the same mistake again. Some people will get skittish quicker, or will hit their target, etc.

It will take time, or some momentum generating event to change that and I don't see any on the horizon before earnings in late April and split in late May. Hopefully the announcement of Zaffire IPO sometime in there also.

Norton, most of yesterday's move in the nasdaq could be attributed to MSFT's 8.5 point gain....generally, it really wasn't that strong. i wouldn't read much into yesterday's trading. if anything, i'd say it was no big deal as it appeared to be largely retail and low volume on the downside. more than anything, just a general lack of buyers.
