MSFT news portends well for QCOM in 6-8 years

I fully expect QCOM to hold dominating patent royalty rights
imagine all the wireless devices, systems, and usage in future years
expect for challenges to the wireless chokehold & headlock that QCOM will enjoy
the upcoming wireless platform ownership is sure to result in legal battles over its near monopoly position

expect some unintended and intended nasty business practices
nasty?
like changing seemingly inconsequential aspects of the CDMA signal process integration with the system software platform, just to accomplish a renewed patent timeclock, and forcing the entire value chain to retool, rebuy, and refill QCOM coffers

this nasty tactic is part & parcel of gorillas
it keeps the sales brisk
it keeps competitors totally offbalance
e.g. see Intel (386, 486, Pentium, P2, P3)
e.g. Qualcomm's new CDMA chipset in June

I will be shocked if QCOM is not in court just like Microshit is today
I dont think QCOM executives will be guilty of daterape, coercion, predatory pricing, and blackmail

but I do expect QCOM to be in court
if MSFT resumes its climb, then there is hope for QCOM when it approaches $1 trillion market capitalization

the investment public is now purchasing MSFT, INTC, CSCO
they are buying reputable names, not huge growth stories anymore
in y2008, they will buy the Qualcomm name
despite perhaps some flattening out of its growth rate

sounds like a keeper until the next decade
work? not me... fxxk them all
this investment mgmt of a portfolio is enough work for me
that and heat seeking field research south of her Mason-Dixon line

what would it take to induce Martha McCallum and Bonnie Behrend to stand up and twirl around just a few times???
