Tip, The Aussie has never been my favorite currency, but I think it is cheap relative to the dollar. I would rather own Euros or Swissies, and, sometimes, yens, but the Aussie doesn't scare me here.
There wasn't really a dividend cut. There were just less capital gains with rates rising.

Tip:

The Aussies have been on a borrowing/spending binge that is as massive as that currently found in the U.S. Their current account numbers are frightening. Asia, used to be big buyers of Aussie resources. No longer.
The list is much longer.
